Accounts Payable Administrator

Aleris is seeking a Accounts Payable Administrator. This position is responsible to perform administrative functions needed to process payments to suppliers in accordance with Aleris policies and procedures.

 

Responsibilities Include:

-  Resolve discrepancies on unmatched invoices/transactions or erroneous requests for payments through collaboration with internal and external sources

-  Process incoming and outgoing AP mail by sorting invoice and check request documents into appropriate processing batches

-  Process high volume PO and loose entry invoices in a timely manner for payment in Oracle

-  Scanning and attaching invoices daily, running discovery report to audit scanning, locate any missing invoices

-  Back up to other team members as necessary

-  Answer internal & external customer calls and respond via email and phone

-  Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

-  Associates Degree in business administration or equivalent work experience

-  Experience in accounts payable 3 to 5 years

-  Proficiency in computer data entry with experience in MS Office applications.  Oracle experience preferred

-  Must have demonstrated experience in using general office equipment

-  Must be able to process high volumes of detailed transactions with accuracy and attention to detail

-  Must be able to work collaboratively in shared tasking environment with the ability to foster a team-based approach to work

-  Must be able to work in fast paced environment

-  Must be able to discern various processing types and best execution paths
