DescriptionAccounts Payable Main contact for assigned group of vendors for BCVS and BSFB Process vendor invoices, investigate and resolve discrepancies and reconcile vendor accounts Process payment proposals for check and wires runs Assist in performing month end AP jobs and preparing monthly AP account reconciliations Main contact for vendors participating in the supplier early payment program Investigate and resolve vendor issues and perform internal payment processing Support various process improvement projects Support preparation of weekly and monthly reporting requirementsPayroll Train to be backup for payroll processing Assist payroll accountant with monthly payroll reconciliations Assist payroll accountant with recording weekly payroll activity in the general ledger Support various process improvement projectsRequired Skills Excellent organization skills Self starter Excellent communication skills Effective team member Minimal supervisionRequired Experience 2 or more years of experience 4 year degree in accounting preferred Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office, SAP experience a plus
