Accounts Payable Clerk

Century City (West Los Angeles) private real estate development company seeks Accounts Payable Clerk. Headquartered in Los Angeles with housing communities in Arizona, Las Vegas, Florida and New Mexico and over 200 employees.  Other divisions include construction, sales, and property management.

 

Responsibilities include:

 Coding of invoices for assigned propertiesAdd, update and maintain vendor information based on W9 informationEnter approved and coded invoices on a timely basis into TimberlinePrint checks for signature on a daily basisMail signed checks to vendorsResearch paid and unpaid invoices for properties and vendorsAnalyze accounts payable procedures and recommend any changes that will increase accuracy and speed of the workflowPerform special projects as assignedPrint and mail 1099’s and 1096’s on an annual basisPrepare inter-company payable/receivable invoices for common expenses

 

 

Applicant must have working knowledge of Excel and Word.  Being familiar with property management or accounting software (i.e. MRI, Yardi, Timberline, Great Plains, etc) is a plus.  Must be detail oriented and able to handle several projects at one time.  Daily communication with regional offices and internal staff is required so good communication, customer service and organizational skills are a must.
