Accounts Payable Clerk

Russell Corporation, subsidiary of Fruit of the Loom, has a heritage known throughout the world as a Premier leader in the sporting goods industry.  Our highly recognizable family of products includes Spalding basketballs, Russell Athletic uniforms, AAI Gymnastics equipment, Mossy Oak Outdoors apparel and jerzees sweatshirts.  Curently we are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk for our Alexander City office.

The Accoaunts Payable clerk will have heavy emphasis onsales/use tax coding of all invoices prior toentry into AP system.  No prior knowledge or experience of sales and use tax is required, but helpful. 

*Reviw.tax codes of invoices

*Assist with daily and weekly department duties - distribution of mail/ checks.

* Assist AP Supervisor with projects

Qualifications

 

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience with Use Tax and basic understanding of manufacturing processes with company would be a plus

Basic Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
