Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Reports To: A/P Manager

FLSA Status:Non-Exempt

 

 

Bodega Latina Corporation:

Bodega Latina Corporation (BLC) is a discount food retailer focusing exclusively on the Hispanic consumer in the Southern California and Phoenix, AZ area. BLC operates under a warehouse store format with the name “El Super”, with store size averaging approximately 40,000 square feet.

AP – Requirements:



Must speak both Spanish and English fluently

Must pass the Drug Test.

Must pass the Background Check.

Must be bilingual (English & Spanish)

Some experience preferred in computer based ledger systems

Must have strong skills & be proficient in Excel

MS Word - Knowledge

10-Key by touch

Must be a Team Player

Must have great Communication & organizational skills

Experience in Retail (Grocery) preferred but not required

 

Education Required:



Associates Degree (Minimum)

Years of Relevant Work Experience - 2+ years

 

Position Purpose:



The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the following:

·  Setting up & processing invoices

·  Keeping record of payments

·  Research & Adjustments (Vendor Statement Reconciliation)

·  Filling in Excel worksheets with daily purchases

·  Issuing daily reports

·  Extensive phone follow-up with Store Directors and Vendors
