Accounts Payable Clerk

Duties and responsibilities

· Review invoices and match to the appropriate PO

· Reconcile and resolve variances between invoices and PO’s

· Reconcile freight charges adjusting sales orders as needed

· Responsible for all data entry of invoices for assigned groups

· Review aging of assigned accounts and cut checks accordingly

· Maintaining a good relationship with vendors

· Filing of all backup and support for checks

· Special projects that may be assigned

 

Required skills and abilities

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to analyze and resolve problem invoices

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Good organizational skills

· General computer skills (Outlook, Excel)

 

Experience level

· Minimum 2 years accounts payable experience preferred.

 

Training

· Accounting software training provided
