Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Waste Pro USA, Inc is a well established growing company with 2008 budgeted revenue of $200m.  Waste Pro has an exciting opportunity for an hourly Accounts Payable Clerk with 1+ years of experience at our Longwood, FL corporate office. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 Record all approved invoices/expense reports in the accounting system and review codingReconcile credit cards.File all recorded but unpaid invoices in filing systemMatch invoices to disbursement, and compare for accuracyResolve non-compliant issues timelyObtain additional approval of disbursement when requireMail all disbursements with appropriate backupEnsure disbursements are mailed timelyFile all paid invoices in filing systemGather appropriate documentation and setup new vendorsReport all errors and resolutionKey journal entriesCalculating and processing accounts payable accruals

OCCASSIONAL/ANNUAL:

 Coordinate files that need to be sent off site each yearPrepare vendor labels and setup new filing system at the beginning of each year

 

 

PREFERENCES:Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) accounting software proficiency.Waste industry experience.


REQUIREMENTS:1-2 Years experience in an Accounting/Accounts Payable environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and deadlinesAbility to multi-task and willingness to learn new skillsAbility to identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions to improve process or automateProficiency in Microsoft applications
