Accounts Payable Coordinator

Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Coordinator ensures timely and seamless communication between Cogent and vendors regarding all accounts Payable transactions. Main objective is to ensure satisfaction of all customers including physicians, employees and vendors.

 

Essential Functions

·  Vouching of vendor invoices including benefit bills, expense reports, rent, patient refunds and community physician invoices.

·  Cash disbursements - generation & mailing of weekly check runs and associated with vendor payments.

·  Interacts with physician and non-physician employees as well as vendors resolving payment discrepancies.

·  Annual generation of 1099s.

·  Experience with Expense Expert (Concur/ADP expense reporting solution) desirable.

·  Perform administrative tasks as requested (examples: filing, filling in for receptionist, FedEx, typing envelopes and creating vendor files).

 Education, Training and Experience

·  Intermediate computer experience in Excel, Word, Outlook.  Must have experience in creating spreadsheets and be able to write formulas in Excel.

·  2-3 years experience processing accounts payable.

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·  Detailed-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.

·  Self-motivated, take initiative, work independently, as well as be a team player.

·  Ability to take direction and work well under pressure.
