Accounts Payable Expert (Good systems exp needed)

We are currently working with a top company in searching for an Accounts Payable Processor that knows what is going on.  This position will focus on completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.  This is a great organization that offers a comfortable working environment.  Our client is ideally looking for someone that has a good understanding of how things flow through AP and the why behind it.   Duties: Receiving, matching, and coding invoices and verifying payment information Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports Pays vendors by scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.This is an ideal position for a candidate with strong AP experience.  You will be glad that you looked into this position.  Even if this position is not a 'perfect' fit, keep in mind that we have many other open needs that we are trying to fill.  Chances are we have a position right for you.  Please send a word resume to ronaldgulick@mergisgroup.com Built on more than 30 years of expertise, The Mergis Group is a specialty recruiting firm committed to helping professionals make the best career choices.
