Accounts Payable/ Payroll Coordinator

Bridge Real Estate Group is a residential multi-family property management company located in Deerfield Beach, Florida.  Currently we are looking for an Accounts Payable/ Payroll Coordinator which would provide AP and payroll support for the company.



AP Responsibilities:Review all invoices for accuracy and completeness prior to payment. Post invoices into accounting software. Generate vendor checks and refund checks. Answer all vendor questions and obtain W9’s. Maintain accounts payable records. Perform other basic clerical duties associated with accounts payable. Generate and mail out 1099’s at year end.

 

Payroll Responsibilities:Review time entry on online time management system. Ensure accurate processing of biweekly payroll in conjunction with human resources policies and procedures, disability, Workers’ Compensation, leave of absences, bonuses and garnishments. Audit insurance bills against premiums collected. New hire processing – run background/ criminal checks, verify all new hire paperwork is completed and enter into payroll system.

 

Position Requirements:Associates degree in accounting or related field from an accredited college or university; or 1-2 years-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to communicate effectively to vendors, employees, and/or managers of the organization both verbally and in writing. Able to work in team environment. Must be able to multitask. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner. MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, Internet Explorer. Experience with ADP Pay Expert and ADP EzLabor Manager a plus.
