Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client seeks to recruit a highly motivated:                Accounts Payable Specialist

This ideal candidate for this role is someone that is meticulous, well organized, and is looking to work in fashion. This assignment has a duration of three to four months.  

The requirements are as follows: Matching invoices with purchasing orders  Entering various information into the payables system        Cutting checks          Processing checks            Preparing weekly check runs     Monitoring payments and expenditures Establishing working relationships with outside vendors    Ensuring that vendors are paid in a timely manner       Posting transactions to journals, ledgers and other records     Maintaining working relationships with office personnel    Working with the accounting group on bank reconciliations JD Edwards is a plus       2-4 years experience             Able to work within Excel Spreadsheets
