The Apothecary Shops currently have a postion available for an Accounts Payable Specialist.  This is a full-time position and is based out of our Corporate Office location (19th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak).

 

Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description

 

This position directly reports to the Accounting Manager with the following responsibilities:

 Accounts PayableAccount coding and keying of invoicesCheck preparation and process check runsSorting mail to various departmentsVendor management including investigating missing invoices, updating vendor with correct contact information and reconcile vendor statements to payments sent.High volume environment with multiple sitesDepositsDaily recording of store deposit information into the Accounting SystemDaily deposit preparation/verification FilingMultiple sites/entitiesAd hoc ProjectsPrepare various schedules to be used in vendor expense analysisAssist Accounting Manager with projectsMonth-endSupport month-end close procedures as neededInput of prepared journal entries into the Accounting System

 Minimum Qualifications:2+ years Accounts Payable/Bookkeeping experience using QuickBooks/Microsoft Great Plains.High School Diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.Must be able to work efficiently and independently with good organizational skills.Must be able to meet deadlines.
