Our growing health-services company seeks a self-starting Accounts Payable Supervisor with strong communication and analytical skills to join the team.  Our company is currently privately held with intentions to file an IPO in the next 18-24 months.  We would like someone who is eager to learn and grow within the department and company.

Qualifications: Assist AP Manager with managing department projects, annual 1099 process, assist with external audits, and publishing management reports and department metrics. Lead or assist AP Manager with all system enhancement testing and implementation efforts and/or procedures to increase efficiencies within Accounts Payable.

 Lead or assist with developing Company-wide vendor resolution process. Lead or assist with developing department metrics and other useful internal management reports. Assist with month-end close and monthly reconciliation procedures. Assist with developing written procedures for all functions handled in Accounts Payable. Maintain satisfactory customer service levels with internal and external customers.

Responsible for supervising and developing Accounts Payable employees. Develop and maintain communication with employees and managers from other departments. Participate in selection and hiring of staff members.

Minimum of 5 – 7 years of varied experience in Accounts Payable, with a minimum of three (3) years functioning in a leadership capacity. Must have experience working in a high volume, fast-paced, and change oriented A/P environment. Strong PC skills (MS Office Suite) and experience with Mas 500 helpful but not required.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Preferred Bachelors in Accounting or similar.
