Accounts Receivable Clerk

Objective

This position is responsible for supporting the accounting department in all aspects of accounts receivable.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Interacts with customers by rectifying billing discrepancies and payment oversights

· Communicating to sales persons regarding outstanding rental/sales invoices

· Provides copies of customer invoices as required

· Prints monthly commission statements

· Processes detailed accounting reports

· Files paperwork appropriately

· Provides excellent customer support in a professional manner at all times

· Serves as the primary back-up to the front office receptionist with phone duties

· Miscellaneous duties as assigned

 

RequirementsAccounting degree or equivalent work experience (3-5 years previous accounting experience).Proficient in computer software programs including Word and Excel.Experienced in UNIX based software and able to learn our NDS software package.Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.Ability to adapt to a constantly changing, heavy volume work environment.Ability to work independently and within a team in a professional manner at all times.

 

 

This is a full time, hourly position (non-exempt) with full benefits (medical, dental, short and long term disability, life insurance, 401(k), vacation and personal time offered).
