Accounts Receivable/Quality Assurance Clerk - Benton, AR

Job Summary:

 

Responsible for routine accounts receivable duties.

 

Essential Functions:

 

· Support pricing, invoicing and collection processes.

· Work with customers, sales representatives and CSR’s on problems with pricing and invoicing.

· Prepare spreadsheets.

· Review all credit applications.

· Set up new accounts and maintain existing accounts.

· Approve all requests for billable activities against total exposure on account.

· Sales order pricing and billing is done completely and in a timely manner.

· Collection activities are conducted efficiently and professionally.

· Review sales order pricing and look for discrepancies in product quantity and weight.  

· Alert sales, csr’s, and management on pricing that cannot be invoiced automatically. 

· Approve all sales orders for billing.

Skill/Education:

 

· Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

· Knowledge/experience with accounting duties.

· Commercial collection skills helpful.

· Computer literacy (proficient in MS Word and MS Excel).

· 40 wpm keyboarding.

· Professional interpersonal skills, appearance, and attitude.

· Ability to adapt to fast-paced, multi-faceted working environment and change.

· Ability to handle diversified assignments and assist with special projects.

· Ability to be flexible.

· Office experience preferred.

· Ability to file with 100% accurately.

· Insurable driving record with a valid Arkansas driver’s license.

 

Physical/Mental Demands:

 

Must be able to see, hear, speak, read, write, sit, walk, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 30 lbs.

 

Work Environment:

 

The work environment is moderately noisy.
