Accounts Receivable Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for a broad range of administrative support to the Premium Billing Department of Corporate Finance including data entry of Cash Receipts; running cash receipts reports, bank deposit logs, and special projects as assigned.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Daily Posting of Cash Receipts for MAPD (Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug) and PDP (Prescription Drug Program).Conduct monthly bank reconciliations; identify and resolve any differences between internal and bank records.Produce daily Cash Receipts Batch reports to reconcile with bank.Assist in various monthly billing functions including reports as assigned.Work closely with department Manager to assist with or perform other duties and projects as needed.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma with some college experience preferred or 3 years of Insurance Cash Posting for Premium Billing.Must have strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and email software.Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.Strong communication skills.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESAbility to communicate with various departments to obtain data needs and to report results.Solid skills in problem analysis and problem solving.Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize workload as needed to ensure timeliness in task completion.Must be a team player.
