Candidate will support all areas of administration of the law firm with many bookkeeping duties. The ability to maintain confidentially is crucial.
Full time position with hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Law firm bookkeeping a PLUS
Two plus years of accounting experience required.
Partial List of Responsibilities: Administrative Support to Law Firm Administrator Accounts Payable including processing vendor invoices from approval tocheck writing, mailing and scanning Cash Receipts including entry and posting of deposits, completing deposit slips, maintenance of client’s cost and billing files Client Billing including revision of time entries on preliminary invoices, printing invoices, attaching vendor backup, mailing final invoices (after administrator review) Trust accounting including entry and posting of deposits, check writing, understanding and applying Fl Bar Rules regarding trust accounting Backup for receptionist and mail clerk Numerous miscellaneous duties and projects Candidates Job Skills: Strict adherence to administrative confidentiality policy Ability to maintain calm and focus amid fast paced environment Computer Literacy (see next section) Word processing skills - typing, spelling, grammar, content, proofreading Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills High level of efficiency, productivity, accuracy, attention to detail, thoroughness, timeliness

Organization Professional demeanor Required computer experience: Juris Accounting Software Client Profiles Case Management Software Excel Word Processing: WordPerfect 12 and MS Word
Internet Working knowledge of following A PLUS: ** Juris Accounting Software: cash receipting, accounts payable and check writing, trust accounting,billing
