Administrative Project Coordinator

The Benchmarking Network, Inc. is an international resource for business process research and metrics. We provide benchmarking training and research to individual companies, professional and trade associations, and industry and process based groups. Since 1992, we have developed a database approaching 140,000 members of groups involved in benchmarking. Our over 300 studies have spanned virtually all processes and industries to identify measures and collect data to identify best practices. We are seeking motivated and career-minded individuals to join our growing team as an Administrative Project Coordinator. Individuals will be slotted at an appropriate level to contain job responsibilities that will be tailored to an individual’s strengths as well as company and client needs.Benchmarking Network Administrative Project Coordinators are responsible for:• Contacting international association members and target companies for both paid and non-paid participation in projects, • Scheduling and coordinating project meetings and site visits, • Optionally organizing and participating in offsite meetings - includes opportunity for travel to out-of-town locations, Essential requirements for this position are: • Computer literacy, • Desire to communicate via telephone • Experience at working in project teams. Additional background or experience that can enhance a candidate’s salary and ultimate suitability for position include: • Specific project management experience, • Business development background, • College degree, other business certification (e.g. CPA), is desired yet not required. Individuals are accountable for a range of measured accomplishments that will result in long term career growth including: • Ability to develop sustainable client relationships, • Meeting business development targets, • Delivering projects on time and meeting client expectations, • Developing and enhancing the enterprise. • Ability to work with management and co-workers effectively. This is a full time paid Monday through Friday position at our offices in the 1960 area of Houston, Texas. Standard days are flexible and may be scheduled to begin at 7, 8 or 9 but must follow a set schedule with an hour for lunch in the middle of the day. Company offers the opportunity to participate in a small-business 401K-type savings program upon meeting plan requirements.
