Analyst, Capital Reporting

JOB SUMMARY

· Analyst position, responsible for updating and maintaining the fixed-asset accounting records and subsidiary ledger system.

 

 

REPORTING STRUCTURE

· Reports to Supervisor, Capital Reporting

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Review and audit capital expenditure requests in accordance with MTVN policy.

·  Responsible for the input of category coding, account coding, asset useful life, etc of new capital expenditure requests.

· Reconciliation of EnterpriseOne fixed assets subledger to general ledger.

· Assist Supervisor of Capital Reporting in administration and data integrity of Khalix-based capital expenditure module and EnterpriseOne fixed asset subledger.

· Generating and validating monthly additions, disposals, and depreciation reports.

· Preparation of standard monthly journal entries.

· Provide general fixed asset subledger support for both domestic and international MTVN finance groups.

· Ad-hoc reporting for Supervisor of Capital Reporting.

·  Account coding and coordination of management review of the monthly transponder invoices. 

 

ROLE-SPECIFIC SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES

· Bachelor’s Degree with 1-2 years experience in accounting.

· Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, general ledger packages, Showcase Strategy, management reporting systems, etc).

· Strong organizational skills and excellent oral/written communication skills.

· Ability to multitask.
