Assistant Cash Manager

Our client, a global financial services firm is searching for an Assistant Cash Manager to manage, monitor, and report daily cash management account balances, investment and operational transactions and coordinate short term investment transactions. 

 

You will also be responsible for ensuring there are always adequate liquidities availability, cash concentration and account fundings as well as preparing cash flow projections and liquidity reports.


You will also resolve all cash related issues, and maintain a proficient understanding of treasury workstation, investment accounting, and bank custody safekeeping and cash management systems.

This role is based in Manhattan, NYC and is paying a salary that’s commensurate with experience.

 

Requirements:

· 4+ years of experience in corporate treasury/cash management.

· B.A/B.S in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required

· Certified Cash Manager (CCM) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) required

· Experience of Money Market instruments and investments

· Strong understanding of the banking, cash management services, payment types, payment systems and SWIFT.

· Experience with SunGard Quantum treasury workstation, MS Office, and Bloomberg

· Excellent time management, organizational, analytical skill set required.
