Assistant Controller - International Retail

We are working with a national retail corporation that operates in the US and 50 counties around the world. The corporation is continuing to grow and is searching for an assistant controller to lead the accounting department. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Assistant Controller will manage the day to day operations of the accounting department. The incoming will oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, manage the preparation of financial reporting and ensure its’ timeliness and accuracy. Qualifications include: ·         4-year accounting degree·         7+ years applicable work experience with a Public CPA Firm and Private mix·         CPA preferred·         Experience working with Auditors, Balance Sheet Management, Fixed Assets, and Staff Development·         Knowledge of GAAP is a must·         Great Plains or Large ERP Please reply with a resume in WORD format to mmanganaro@acsysinc.com   Acsys.
