Location: New York, NYYour location:home   »  find a job   »  advanced search   »  job description Send this Job to a Friend Our client is a major fashion retailer looking for an Assistant Controller with any type of retail experience.  We are looking for a candidate who understands retail budgets.  This position reports into the Controller and is a highly visible role, with room for advancement for the right individual. Responsibilities: ·  Prepare annual financial plans for both stores and office departments.·  Coordinate the month-end and year-end closing process.·  Review financial statements.·  Prepare P&L for new and existing stores.·  Assure adherence to financial corporate policies and procedures.·  Prepare quarterly returns.·  Prepare the monthly sales plan by division.·  Ad hoc reports. Qualifications: ·  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.·  7-10 years prior accounting experience in the retail industry.·  Proficiency in Lawson, GL system, and Hyperion reporting software. Please Send a Copy of Your Resume in Word Format Only to pmresumes@hudson.com     About Hudson Financial Solutions Hudson Financial Solutions is a practice of Hudson.
