Manage and Review the Companys quarterly and annual tax accounting reporting responsibility for SFAS, No.109, Accounting for Income Taxes and FASB Interpretation No. 48, Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Tax., and 123 R Accounting for Equity Based Compensation. Manage and Review the Companies U.S federal consolidated and multi-state income ax compliance returns including estimated taxes, extensions, and returns. Identify and Coordinate the implementation of Tax Planning Projects Manage relationships with outside consultants for outsourced activities. Manage and Mentor a team of tax experienced tax professionals. Specifically, two tax managers and two tax seniors responsible for the tax reporting and compliance process. Implements, monitors, supports, and documents transfer pricing policies for India, China, and Northern Ireland and domestic transfer pricing. Monitors law changes and identifies planning opportunities. Performs Tax Research in connection with the above activities. Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations. Performs related duties as assigned.QualificationsSeven (7) or more years tax management experience preferable in food, drug, or cosmetic industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer 2 5 years experience in Big 4. JD Edwards or SAP experience, a plus.Knowledge of:" Generally Accepted Accounting Principals" Business and personal hardware and software applications" Business English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation" Income Tax Provisions " Financial Audits, practices, and procedures" Pertinent federal, state and local tax laws, codes and regulations" Multistate income taxes combined returns" Supervision and training practices and methods" Principles of Mathematical and statistical computations" Pertinent federal, state and local laws or codes and regulations." RIA Insource taxes computer software" Current Company policies, practices and procedures including safety rules and regulationsSkill in:" Developing and implementing goals, objectives and practices for effective, efficient and cost effective management of allocated resources." Responding to inquiries or complaints from management, internal customers, federal and state regulatory agencies." Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing." Reading, analyzing, interpreting and applying financial and tax manuals, accounting journals, financial reports, legal documents, and federal, state and local tax related laws, codes and regulations." Researching, analyzing and evaluating new tax saving methods, procedures and programs." Supervising, coordinating, delegating assignments and reviewing work of assigned personnel."
