Associate, Investment Banking Key Bank is an $85 billion bank headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, and the largest domestic integrated commercial/ investment bank serving the middle market ($250 million- $3.0 billion market cap client size). Key companies provide investment management, retirement, retail banking, and consumer finance, commercial and investment banking products and services, equity and fixed income capital markets.  We are seeking an Investment Banking Associate for our Charlotte, NC office.  This position will be within the Industrial Group and will work with industry senior bankers in Transportation, Logistics and Industrial Technology sectors. Applicants must have prior investment banking experience.   -Work with corporate finance investment bankers and product partners on M&A, strategic corporate finance, and capital raising transactions -Generate ideas and analytical materials in support of new client meetings -Lead due diligence and other meetings with client management; design and prepare key transaction materials including valuation analyses, offering memoranda, and management presentations -Perform financial modeling and valuation analyses on public and private companies: comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, leveraged buy-out analysis and discounted cash flow analysis -Develop marketing materials for topics such as company positioning, financing alternatives, and M&A/Strategic alternatives." Required skills: MBA from a highly- regarded graduate program. Effective oral and written communication skills; strong analytical and decision- making skills; advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills.  Preferred skills: Demonstrated team player through sports, extra- curricular activities and other interests.
