Audit / Accounting Clerk

NOTE:  THIS PROJECT IS BASED IN BATON ROUGE, LA.  HOWEVER, THE INCUMBENT MUST BE AVAILABLE TO TRAVEL TO ANY OF THE NINE (9) DISTRICT OFFICES AS NEEDED.

 

Project Location:  Baton Rouge, LA

Project Start Date:  06/01/2008

This position performs routine accounting activities such as maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports and accounts payable or receivable functions.

Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and at least 5 years of related experience. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. This position reports to the Task Manager.
