Audit/Compliance/Operational/Risk-Manager of Operational/Self Assessment Risk (80's-90's plus bonus)
Premiere International Financial Conglomerate is looking for a Manager of Operational/Self Assessment Risk.
Main areas of responsibility for this position include:
1. Support the on-going Entity Risk Self Assessment Program as it relates to the overall Operational Risk framework
2. Develop relationships with internal business leaders to analyze and evaluate operational risk governance structures, processes and risk data to determine how risks materialize and may be mitigated.
3. Facilitate the development of risk statements and risk scenarios for the Company's Business Units and Staff Functions as a component of an overall Entity / Enterprise Risk Profile.
4. Perform research on historical data to analyze how risks may materialize for an entity, using audit findings, internal and external loss events, and other sources.
5. Coordinate the planning and preparation for the Entity Self Assessment workshops, which include drafting PowerPoint presentations for the workshop, preparing and analyzing survey data, and, working with other risk / control functions in the organization to obtain support and commitment for the program.
6. Provide on-going support of post-risk assessment activities, including monitoring of action and project plans for risk mitigation, to ensure a robust risk profile / assessment model.
Qualifications: 4-6 years experience in operational risk management, audit or internal controlSolid relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively with other operational risk groups and Business UnitsStrong analytical skills required to research complex data and present in a clear manner to senior management.Strong communication skills to convey strategic insight and thought leadership in identifying emerging issues affecting business units.
