BILLING ANALYST

Scully Transportation Services, Inc., a leading provider of transportation solutions to Fortune 500 companies has an immediate opening for a Billing Analyst in our corporate office located in Fontana, CA. We are Team Scully and we want an individual who is detailed, a quick learner, has initiative and can work independently to meet tight project deadlines. The selected individual will have a track record of being highly productive, responsible, conscientious, and organized, who will perform their job in a professional manner. Daily interaction with our customers and management requires that you demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism.

 

In this position, your primary responsibility will be reviewing and analyzing weekly billing/invoicing for Scully’s Distribution division in order to prepare customized billing solutions for our customers.

 

Duties will include: Researching and resolving billing discrepancies and recommending process improvements Compiling and submitting billing summaries to customers on a weekly basis Reconciling billing summaries to system generated invoices on a weekly basis Interfacing with customers and accounting personnel to resolve billing discrepancies Evaluating and implementing customer requests for changes to billing summaries Ad Hoc requests and special projects as necessary

Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Financing strongly preferred Advanced computer skills in MS Office, specifically Excel spreadsheets a mustCandidate must be a “hands-on” individual with a high attention to detailThe ability to learn quicklyA strong work ethic with personal initiative and ownership of job responsibilities  Excellent verbal and written communication skills  Personal initiative and ownership of job responsibilities and motivation to perform the job successfully Prior experience in the transportation industry is not necessary, but a plus
