BILLING MANAGER

Cozen O’Connor, a full service law firm based in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an experienced Billing Manager.  Cozen O’Connor, ranked among the largest law firms in the United States, has offices located across the United States, Toronto and London, serving business, insurance and private clients. 

The Billing Manager will oversee the daily process of paper and electronic billing completed in the Philadelphia office as well as our regional offices.  The position is responsible for effective communication to management and staff, review of subordinates’ output, group productivity, and the continuous delivery of accurate client bills prepared in the most expeditious manner. 

The Billing Manager has primary responsibility for overall process improvement and works to foster an environment where idea generation, continuous learning and open communication is the norm.  The Billing Manager serves as Project Team Leader on new technologies and Subject Matter Expert for all Firm projects that intersect the Billing Department.  The Billing Manager reports to the Firm’s Director of Finance. 

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of billing management experience in a 200+ attorney firm using the ELITE software system.
