Liberty Youth Ranch is a Christ-centered, non-denominational children's home located in Bonita Springs for children who through no fault of their own are in need of a permanent home, a family, and the opportunity to simply be children.

Description:

Serves as Business Director. Reports directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer. Responsible for all financial related tasks, including accounts payable, payroll, year-end reporting, and monthly financial statements.

MINIMUM TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: Degree in Accounting. Six years experience.  Certified Public Accountant, preferred. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Must have working knowledge of nonprofit agencies. Knowledge of all areas of accounting, including budgeting, payroll, federal tax requirements, financial statement reporting, and policies and procedures. Must be able to analyze data and organize in user-friendly formats for Directors, foundations, and various end users. Must be able to direct all areas related to finance/accounting. Ability to determine work priorities and follow through on assignments independently. The ability to work as part of a team is also essential and critical to this position. Knowledge of Blackbaud software preferred. Must be computer/software efficient and able to learn new systems quickly.

PREFERENCE: Preference will be given to applicants with experience working with non-profit organizations, community faith-based organizations. Regularly attends and is a member of a church. Agrees with the Liberty Youth Ranch Statement of Faith and Mission.
