Billing Analyst

The Billing Analyst will work on various aspects of the accounts receivables function including billing, cash receipts and account reconciliations. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the challenges experienced in an expanding business.

Specific responsibilities include:

 

·  Prepare daily journal entries related to cash receipts, including lockbox and monthly bank deposits

 

·  Process American Express chargebacks on a daily basis

 

·  Assist in the preparation and production of monthly Cash Collection Statistics reports and related profitability reports, including quarterly top client profitability reports used by senior management.

 

·  Participate in month end close areas, including:  preparation of detailed account reconciliations for accounts receivable and other balance sheet accounts, and preparation of revenue and costs schedules contained in the monthly financial reporting package.

 

·  Validate campaigns set up by Marketing

 

·  Provide support to Customer Service on billing / refund questions

 

·   Provide back up support to Chargeback Analyst

 

·  Assist in preparation of year end audit work with KPMG

 

·  Assist in a variety of special projects as requested by Management.

 

Required background and qualifications include:

 

·  Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience preferred

 

·  Strong Excel skills required

 

·  Must be extremely detailed oriented and very well organized

 

·  Proficiency in MS Office and Word necessary

 

·  Good interpersonal and communication skills required

 

·  Exposure to General Ledger Software a plus
