Billing Analyst Summary

This is a 1-2 year contract opportunity within a retail organization. Revenue Accounting duties will be performed.


Billing Analyst Duties & ResponsibilitiesProcess monthly billing for advertising sales.Oversee mailing of monthly invoices and re-mailing of invoices as requested.Perform set up of new accounts.Perform accounting review of all new sales orders.Perform collections functions which involves monitoring accounts receivable aging reports and identifying past due accounts.Apply payments to appropriate accounts.Assist with month end close process for Advertising Sales.Process journal entries to GL related accounting policies surrounding various accounting issues, including complex barter transactions.Participate in development of departmental procedures and system requirements with ad sales and programming.

 


Essential Billing Analyst Skills & Characteristics

Education & ExperienceBA/BS in Accounting/Finance or equivalent requiredCPA candidate preferred2 + years experience Expertise in accounting systems and operations, account reconciliations and GAAPSarbanes Oxley Section 404 compliance experience preferred

Computer SkillsMicrosoft OfficeLawson preferred
