Billing and Claims

Summary : The billing Clerk is responsible for processing data received from business software and source documents to produce invoices for billing entry and payment posting activities. Billing Clerk is also responsible for any account follow-up procedures on delinquent and /or aging balance. This position is production tasks oriented and must meet daily and monthly deadlines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities include the following,but are not limited to the following;Process an excel generated flat file from the business software and source documents to produce Drayage billing. Every MondayEmail the excel generated flat file to the customer. WeeklyCreate and maintain master report for reconciliation purposes. Reconciliation to include automated drayage payment sent from corporate accounting to dtay carriers. Daily and Monthly.Process manual shuttle and direct shipment reports for reconciliation purposes. WeeklyCreate and maintain master reports of shuttle and direct shipment reports for reconciliation purposes. WeeklyParticipates in the review and coordination of all invoices that pertain to revenue billing. This includes,but is not limited to billing for trans loading,transportation,documentation and handling.Communicates with CORPORATE ACCOUNTING AND mis Dept. to reconcile variances between various systems generated reports.Performs special projects and other related duties as required.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS; To perform this job successfully,an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
