Bookeeper/Office Manager
Job Purpose:
Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions. Maintains 3 sets of software of related firms with Mas200 software and inventory control.
Duties:
* Maintains accounting and inventory software system to account for financial transactions by using established a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
* Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
* Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
* Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
* Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
* Maintains historical records by filing documents.
* Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
* Oversee and control Sales data for V.P and control Salesman inventory with customer service under VP of Marketing
* Prepares payroll and associated tasks via payroll service
*Closes All year end books and solve software issues with support vendor help, if neccessary.
* Manage and control customer service, and all functions including phone support to customers, to outside Salesmen and record keeping of such. Train and control customer service to provide proper phone techniques so as to provide customers both excellent service and up to date information and literature.
* Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and solving software issues under the guides of CPA ( offsite) while working with Sales and Production to improve on processes. Must be self motivated person. This is not just a data entry job.
Skills/Qualifications: Computer knowledge a must with inventory experience, required. Knowledge of MAS200 software a plus.
