Bookkeeper/Accounting Clerk

 

The Associate Accountant will be responsible for analyzing financial information, preparing regular financial reports participating in special projects as required. Specific duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 Invoice processing Performing monthly variance analyses Compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions Reviewing and analyzing invoices to insure compliance with vendor contracts as well as appropriate expense allocation Preparing payments to vendors according to contracts and schedules Reviewing, investigating and correcting errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports

 

Principle Qualifications Required:

 Basic accountancy knowledge/training Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail

 

Requirements:

 Must have at least 3-5 years business experience; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

 

Software:

 QuickBooks experience, Word, Excel,
