Business Development Executive Manager

Business Development Executive Manager The BDE Manager is responsible for the procurement of new, full service client relationships for the Professional Services Line of Business within the Chicago area. This individual leads the outside sales function to include facilitating the sales process, establishing communication and inputting sales information and sales reports into sales database; and participates in ongoing sales training activity. Ideal candidate: 5 years in sales, experience selling intangible product, prospecting (cold calling), territory development, and computer literacy. Responsibilities: ---Handle outside sales function and processes -Facilitate communication between Managing Partner, Director of Sales & Marketing, and Partners -Follow established sales procedures and help create sales process/structure with management ---Relationship Management -Manage and capitalize on Grant Thornton new business relationships and network of contacts. Leverage new relations to benefit the Chicago office within the Cluster and across Lines of Business. -Create cross-sell opportunities and facilitate cooperation within business lines. -Participate in proposal development process -Draft presentations and proposals. -Utilize PowerPoint to create effective presentations -Adhere to firm brand identity guidelines ---Sales Reporting -Complete required sales reports and forward at agreed upon time frame. -Ensure effective data integrity and accuracy. -Use SalesLogix for sales notes and to insure effective data integrity and accuracy of sales call information.- Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution and 5+ years of successful solution-based or service-based sales experience required. Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and presentation skills required.-Experience in business-to-business relationship development for Big5 Public Accounting Firm; a proven track record in growing a sales territory and establishing a network of contacts and prospects. -Demonstrated performance in a commission or incentive-based compensation program.-Experience working with SFA or CRM software -Previous tele-prospecting and/or canvassing experience in a business-to-business environment is highly desirable -Ability to write and create effective sales presentations and proposals-Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint helpful. -Willingness to work additional hours outside of the established work hours is required for this position.Additional Information: Travel Percentage: 50% Company:Grant Thornton LLPLocation:Chicago, ILStatus:Full Time, EmployeeJob Category:Full Time, EmployeeEducation:Bachelor's Degree Company:Grant Thornton LLPReference Code:8704
