Business / Financial Analyst (great move out of public accounting)

Our client, a large manufacturing company headquartered on the Westside of Cleveland, is looking for a Business / Financial Analyst to add to their growing team.  This is a great position for those looking to make the switch from public accounting into a corporate environment; those with corporate accounting / financial analysis experience will also be considered.

The Business / Financial Analyst will be responsible for the following:Preparing and reviewing financial forecasts related to sales, margins and capital budgetsProviding financial analysis to drive performance and meet business goalsAssisting with various reporting and business analysis, including monthly business reviewsAnalyzing trends and variances, reporting results and making recommendations to managementSupporting the development of information and financial analysis for Marketing and Sales activity

The Business / Financial Analyst must possess the following minimum requirements:Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably coupled with a CPA and/or MBA2 - 4 years of public accounting or corporate accounting/analysis experienceAbility to work independently and report results to managementExperience using Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SAP and/or Hyperion Essbase is highly desirableSuperior oral and written communication skills

The Business / Financial Analyst will play an integral role in the development and analysis of new and existing product lines.  This company offers plenty of room for advancement to roles within the Accounting or Finance departments.
