Business Intelligence Director

Responsible for the day-to-day direction setting and management of the Business Intelligence group. The director leverages the BI and IT matrix organizations to drive delivery of projects and is fully accountable for the consistency, accuracy and integrity of all BI solutions across the company. The incumbent is instrumental in the identification of short and long-term BI solutions that will enable the company to achieve its strategic goals. The director provides strategic direction and project prioritization for the BI team based on an overall understanding of business needs. Responsible for building a business intelligence function that can respond quickly to new opportunities with concise information and the creation of a look forward business intelligence function that forecasts complex financial models for presentation to investors and shareholders.



EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

 

Graduated from a Bachelor´s degree in Finance or Economics, and a Masters Degree in Finance or a related field.

 

WORKING EXPERIENCE

 

 

Minimum 10 years  of experience in a senior-level finance or Business Intelligence experience, market research and business development.

Great Plains or other major accounting database query and financial reporting experience (3 years) with excel as the analytical tool tied to reporting software.   

Experience in project budget management and construction experience highly desirable
