_ ITT Communications Systems (CS)Our Thousand Oaks, CA Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) organization is focused on producing high precision, high accuracy military and civilian GPS receivers for the Control and User Equipment segments.The Thousand Oaks team is looking for a Business Manager to fill the role of key program lead for Business Management. The Business Manager performs a lead role in planning and implementing sound financial review and control functions to assist Program Management and Core Team in executing program cost control responsibilities. Guides Program Manager in choosing financial alternatives as they impact the program. Equivalent Education Level Required: B.S. Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or similar discipline.Experience Required: Six to nine years business, financial or accounting experience with an exposure to Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance. Direct ITT experience desirable, plus working knowledge of engineering terminology.Knowledge Required: Knowledge and application of accounting principles, Earned Value Management, proposal process, government financial reporting with general knowledge of government contracts and procurement regulations. Experience with Microsoft Office, pricing, and financial management tools. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of VBSS (Value Based Six Sigma) techniques.Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
