Principal Responsibilities:Creditor Services 'Leverage the Firm's leadership to expand your network of client contacts in the industry 'Work closely with the Partners and decision-makers 'Review financial statements, and recommend business changes and operational improvements 'Advise clients on analysis of cash flow projections and tax consequences 'Evaluate management to determine ability to operate and reorganize business operations 'Evaluate entities' viability as a going concern 'Ensure compliance with all court filing requirements 'Help prepare and / or ensure the disclosure statement and reorganization plan meet all financial requirements 'Gain acceptance of reorganization plan with all parties in interest or evaluate plan for client 'Apply knowledge of key financial indicators / measures to evaluate alternative courses of action and to select optimal solutions 'Assist creditors with obtaining the most favorable distribution of assets from companies undergoing formal bankruptcy proceedings of informal workouts Debtor Services: 'Conduct operational assessments with the intent of identifying cost savings opportunities 'Participate in and help manage process redesign activities to improve operations, reduce costs, and improve supply chain management 'Develop detailed implementation programs 'Facilitate management decision processes and facilitate implementation of operational and business improvements 'Assist companies in developing business plans in conjunction with financial projections 'Conduct capital sourcing efforts on behalf of clients to complete refinancing or Debtor-In-Possession financing 'Prepare companies for sale and help manage sale process in Chapter 11 Due Diligence / Transaction Support Services: 'Assist companies, lenders and private equity sponsors with accounting due diligence, 'Quality of Earnings' reports, and Businessperson's reviews 'Review, analyze and make recommendations related to financial projections and pro forma financial statement 'Identify purchase price adjustments 'Coordinate with audit and tax practices in relation to technical issues such as tax structuring, purchase price allocations 'Develop recommendations related to findings identified in the review process Qualifications:'Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field 'CPA or MBA a plus, 'Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word '6+ years experience in the business restructuring services business with a "Big 4" or other related firm '2+ years management experience 'Financial modeling skills, especially integrated P&L with Balance Sheet and Cash Flows 'Debt and lease restructuring Company:  BDO Seidman, LLP Location:  Los Angeles, CA 90067 Job Category:  Business/Strategic Management Company:  BDO Seidman, LLP Reference Code:  bdo-00000210 Please note that only those individuals whose qualifications match our current needs will be considered applicants and will receive responses from BDO.
