Business Solutions Consultant

Feterick & Associates, Inc., a 20-year-old business solutions consulting company located near O’Hare, is seeking a full time Business Solutions consultant.

 
Position Responsibilities:Implementation and support of Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions (Great Plains, Solomon). Assistance with developing and/or improving internal accounting procedures for clients.Developing custom reports for clients, using the latest reporting tools including Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, or Excel.Handling of technical support calls for Dynamics GP, SL. Researching and recommending third party add-on products. Conducting hands-on classroom and on-site training for Microsoft Dynamics solutions. Identifying, recommending and performing product customizations, enhancements, or work-arounds to meet client requirements. Training new users on products. Performing product demonstrations either in person or remotely via web meeting tools.

 Requirements2+ years experience in business systems or a technology environment 3+ years experience (preferred) with either Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon), or Dynamics GP (Great Plains).  Will accept experience implementing other similar ERP systems. Candidate should be willing to learn to support both Dynamics GP and SL.Accounting background (either education, work experience, or combination of both.) The ability to accurately and thoroughly determine client requirements with respect to our solutions. The ability to communicate in both technical and business terms, including the ability to provide training to a very disparate audience ranging from accounting end users, IT professionals, or upper management / business owners. Project Management skills to define a project plan and to communicate regularly in both verbal and written form our progress against the plan. A willingness to “go the extra mile” to provide exceptional level of responsiveness and support to our clients.  (We have been rated very high in independent customer satisfaction survey and maintaining this is a high priority). The ability to multi-task on a regular basis, handling urgent needs of multiple clients at the same time.MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer) in Dynamics a huge plus

 Travel ranges from 10-50%, within the Chicagoland area.  Occasional need for travel to Indiana.
