CONTROLLER / CFO

Price Brothers, a dynamic, growing plumbing company in the South Charlotte area, has an opportunity for a highly motivated, self starter with proven Management and Leadership skills to fill the position of Controller/ CFO.    This position will be responsible for the overall financial plans and accounting practices for the organization.  Responsibilities include managing the accounting function and ensuring that the company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles.                                                                                                                              Essential Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the Accounting department. Manage key assets of the business through internal control, internal auditing and ensuring proper insurance coverage. Provide support and relevant information to other departments to help them carry out their responsibilities. Develop working relationship with all department heads to provide support, advice and business suggestions. Manage and lead the Accounting function to provide excellent customer service to other departments. Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws. Lead, motivate, mentor and develop Accounting team. Ability to make decisions with sound judgment when required information if not available or present.  Ability and willingness to be a hands-on leader and manager. 

 

Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting CPA preferred 5 or more years in Financial or Accounting Management Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Strong technical capability including Excel skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
