CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST

Diagnostic Health Corporation, a multi-modality facilities offering a combination of outpatient diagnostic imaging services, including MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine services currently has a Patient Account Representative position available at its Pelham, AL National Diagnostic Business Office.

Position Summary:

Obtains and maintains the credentialing information for diagnostic testing facilities and contracted physicians. Works with Billing department on enrollment of all facilities and physicians for EDI services.

 

Responsibilities:Interact with facility administrators to obtain credentialing information and process any needed enrollment applicationsMaintain all credentialing and enrollment information in an organized mannerProcess all request for credentialing information including W-9 formsWork with Billing Coordinator to obtain necessary data to resolve issues and obtain payments

 QualificationsHigh school diplomaMinimum of 1 year experience in credentialing or enrollment processesMinimum of 3 years experience in billing and/or collections in a medical settingFamiliar with Medicare, Medicaid, and Blue Cross credentialing applicationsExcellent organization, communication, and handwriting skillsKnowledge of compliance practices within the medical industry (HIPAA Privacy Standards, CMS guidelines, ICD-9 and CPT coding)
