Credit Manager - Music Industry

We are looking for a talented high energy Credit Manager to manage our expanded Accounts Receivable department. This position reports to the CFO.

 

This individual will be the key player in managing all aspects of the credit and collections.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 Improving DSOFinancial review of accounts, approval of new credit applications, & establishing credit limes for potential customersResponsible for Credit & Collection policies and procedures Managing the collection of Domestic, International, and Chain accountsMaintenance of customer credit files and profiles with information pertinent to the effective management of customer accountsManaging the Chain account reconciliation processManaging the collections process for accounts sent to collection agenciesResponsible for UCC filingsLegal interface responsibility on accounts sent to legal and or in bankruptcy 

 

Person must have

 At least 3-5 years experience as a Credit Manager10 years of prior credit and collections experienceExcellent communication skills – verbal & writtenGrowth oriented, flexible, & high energy individual who works well under pressureExtensive Domestic & International collection experienceChain & big box collection experience a mustFamiliarity with Credit & Collection proceduresAbove average computer skills are a mustSound accounting background with an understanding of general accountingDetail oriented individual who has good account reconciliation skills
