For more information, please visit www.Fiserv.com Hours: 8:30 - 5 Monday - FridayPay Range: $9-$12, based on experience.Position Purpose: This successful associate is responsible for verificatioin, posting and reconciliation of incoming payments, sale proceeds, and payoffs received from customers or dealers for leases and loans. This includes using the applicable posting system and providing excellent customer service to clients, vendors and internal contacts throughout the process.Responsibilities:Learn the T2K, Lease Master, Loan Master and Vehicle Linq systemsLearn client specific portfolios to become subject matter expertVerify and post all incoming payments, auction proceeds and customer/dealer payoffs to the applicable system making sure that charges and fees fall within acceptable parameters for the specific clientProcess all accounting transactions, including but not limited to invoice posting (daily and monthly), thru bills, terminations, miscellaneous changes and lease addsProvide client with all necessary backup documentation based on client parameters and state-specific requirementsReconcile daily transactions usiing applicable reports, spreadsheets and established proceduresEnsure all checks received in house are handled and stored appropriately, following established customer/client privacy regulationsPrepare appropriate deposit information for all checks received in house and ensure that daily deposit deadlines are metUtilize check scanner for deposits made to Fifth ThirdWork diligently to meet daily and month-end deadlines as set by client expectations and/or contracts to meet or exceed client standardsAssist clients and internal associates with problematic accounts using internal problem logs or existing queuesAssist fellow Cash Management assocites in all other functions assigned by managementSkills:Strong math aptitude for balancing and reconciling financial informationStrong keyboarding/data entry skills (accuracy and speed)Excellent customer service, organizational skills and attention to detail requiredStrong problem-solving and follow-up skillsAbility to work independently and effectivelyMust be able to stay focused and work in a fast-paced environment with daily work processing deadlinesAbility to work overtime with little or no noticeAbility to multitask successfullyExperience:Associates degree in a business related field or minimum 2 years of previous Accounting/Finance/Banking processing experience preferredIntermediate proficiency with Windows based software programs required (i.e. MSWord, Excel)Knowledge of accounting principles preferredKnowledge of automotive finance industry a plusPersonal Qualities:Ability to participate effectively in a team atmosphereStrong verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to cross train and change responsibilities as workflow dictatesFiserv, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and maintains a Drug-Free Workplace.Administrative Support,Finance/AccountingAdditional Information:Telecommute Percentage: 40%
