Cash Posting Coordinator

Assistive Technology Group, a leading provider of rehab and assistive technology is seeking a Cash Posting coordinator for our Rocky Hill, CT location doing business as ATG Rehab.

The Cash Posting coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely posting of cash receipts and remittance data (denials) within the medical billing system.  This person will spend their time posting cash receipts and remittances, down loading ERN's and or ERA's, investigating proper payments and adjusting billing as needed.  The Cash Posting coordinator will ensure all daily cash postings agree to the daily deposits made to the company's bank account.  The Cash Posting coordinator will identify trends of inaccurate payments and/or system allowances and advise supervisor of these trends.  This person will also be responsible for down loading daily deposit information as well as printing, scanning and indexing EOB's for all ATG companies.

The successful applicant will have: The ability to handle large volumes of data entry and be very detail oriented. Excellent communication and organizational skills along with the ability to work with billing and collection coordinators as well as reimbursement managers. Strong analysis and research skills to assist in problem solving for billing and payment problems. Knowledge and experience with Medicare, Medicaid and managed care billing and or collections - ideally in a home medical equipment environment is a plus but not a requirement. Strong work ethic and take pride in a job well done. Willingness to learn and ability to adhere to set job standards.

Computer knowledge required.  Must have exemplary keypunch entry skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.  Nationwide criminal and drug screen checks required upon hire.Salary commensurate with experience.
