Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Irvine, CA based leading investment management firm assisting large institutional investors with their private equity partnership investments, is seeking an Accountant to perform various accounting and financial functions. 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Accounting and reporting for assigned funds, including the following:

 

· Track cash flows, review wire transfers, and analyze fund expenses.

· Reconcile cash and investment accounts.

· Determine the need and timing of requests for funds and the distribution of proceeds.

· Record all accounting entries in the accounting system and reconcile to the investment database.

· Prepare quarterly financial statements.

· Prepare monthly market value and other specialized reports.

· Provide support for year-end audit of client funds.

 

Analysis of investment partnership capital account activity.

 

Perform special projects, such as compliance reviews, testing of system enhancements and implementation of process improvements.

 

Additional Requirements:

 

· Degree in Accounting with 2 years experience

· Strong Knowledge of GAAP

· Strong Excel

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
