CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER/CORPORATE CONTROLLER



We are a well established, family owned, multi-location, rapidly growing, grocery business with an opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer/Corporate Controller. This individual should have deep operational and finance experience including: Strong business planning, financial reporting, budget preparation and control, business modeling, treasury, risk management, GAAP and cost accounting and internal control skills. This individual must have the necessary business skills and experience to function as a sounding board for other members of the management team on matters both strategic and tactical and be able to lead and motivate a staff of financial professionals to create a high-performance culture. The successful candidate will be intelligent, energetic, level-headed, communicative, and honest. Additionally, he/she must have solid communication and presentation skills. In terms of style, we seek a hands-on, driven, team-oriented, and collaborative professional with a firm resolve and strength of will.



The successful candidate will have a minimum of six years accounting experience with CPA certification and grocery business experience preferred. Must possess highly developed computer proficiency with Windows-based products, including Excel. Experience in mergers and acquisitions and the due diligence process is an asset. Demonstrated ability to create, identify, and communicate appropriate corporate business strategies is essential.
