Client Services- Portfolio Reporting

 

Our Asset Management client located in Westchester County, NY is seeking a Senior Accountant/ Portfolio Reporting.  The Accountant will become involved with various aspects of client reporting and fixed income portfolios. The position is responsible for booking trades, updating accounts, monitoring performance, and handling the financial/client reporting for the portfolios.  The compensation ranges from 60-70K plus target 20% bonus and benefits.  Some of the main responsibilities are listed below.

 

Responsibilities Prepare monthly client portfolio reports; Prepare third party client quarterly portfolio reports.Review, analyze, and monitor portfolio performance on a sector and composite basis and compare them to relevant benchmarks.Prepare monthly and quarterly client billings.Reconcile client safekeeping/custody statements.Generate internal management reports as needed through Excel or Crystal. Maintain existing charts and graphs for portfolio management group.Work with other departments to maintain consultant databases.Develop, enhance, and streamline client reporting activities.Work with IT to fully leverage system capabilities.

 

RequirementsBachelors degree in Finance or Accounting 2-5 years of experience supporting fixed income client reporting; knowledge of financial markets and fixed income investmentsAbility to work in a team atmosphere and to communicate clearly with portfolio managers, internal and external clients.
