Irvine CA, 92618Job Description: Experience·  Two or more years experience in collections highly preferred. ·  MS Excel experience required. ·  MS Access knowledge preferred. ·   Customer Service focus; Education   ·  High School Diploma or GED required. Position Summary ·  The Collector systematically initiates collection calls and prepares collection letters in accordance with targeted goals and department policy; ·  maintains bad debt at a percentage level of sales as outlined by department management;·  assures timely resolution of reimbursement appeals, resolves customer questions, resolves reimbursement discrepancies, and maintains customer assistance programs; ·  prepares accounts receivable summaries and reviews.  Duties:  ·  This position performs clerical/analytical activities for the reimbursement/collections managing account receivables ·  Candidate must be able to analyze and identify issues, then search for solutions. ·  Ability to follow directions. ·  Ability to understand and document thorough and detailed notes on collection actions.·  Good follow up skills. ·  Good telephone and computer skills. ·  Detail oriented. ·  Strong written and verbal communication skills; ·  Ability to analyze practical problems in a standardized situation; ·  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and information in written and oral format;·  Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Additional Information: ·  Hours 8:30 to 5:00.
