Lancaster Pollard’s mortgage banking arm, Lancaster Pollard Mortgage Company, is an approved FHA/GNMA/USDA lender, specializing in commercial mortgage loans to the above sectors. An integral part of the mortgage company is the servicing department.
The Commercial Real Estate Asset Manager will be responsible for monitoring the financial performance and physical condition of multifamily and long term care properties; securing mortgage loans serviced by the company to assure ongoing compliance with loan terms and government agency loan programs; evaluating collateral asset value and implement strategies to protect value if deterioration is detected; administer construction progress and draw procedures for loans funding construction or improvements. Responsibilities will be handled through a combination of in-office review, communication with property operators or managers, on-site property inspections, and communication with senior level management and credit committee members of Lancaster Pollard. Additional responsiblities will include providing assistance as needed to the Vice President, Mortgage Company.
The ideal candidate would possess the following core characteristics:
q Bachelor’s degree with an accounting major or considerable exposure to accounting
q Ability to analyze financial statements
q Strong written and verbal communication skills needed for reporting to management, credit committee, government
agencies, and investors
q Willingness to travel to property locations
q Ability to pass credit report check
Major duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
q Property surveillance activities, including periodic analysis of financial statements and rent rolls
q Monitor compliance with loan terms and government agency loan program guidelines
q Evaluation of property physical condition
q Monitor construction progress and draw schedule
q Willingness to work with the client to address financial/operational issues to avoid or cure default
